A New Vintage Furniture Market in Marylebone

2nd March 2026

Last Saturday we held our very first vintage market in Marylebone, at the beautiful St Cyprian’s Church on Clarence Gate, and it was one of those 'can't believe this is where I work for the day' kind of days!!

For those of you who know our bigger London events — the Hyde Park scale, the Chelsea crowds — this was something else entirely. Smaller. Calmer. Only thirty-five traders. No endless rows, no cavernous halls. Just one very elegant church filled with properly good vintage.

St Cyprian’s is one of those buildings that makes you instinctively slow down when you walk in. High ceilings, period features, light pouring through stained glass. It didn’t feel like a typical flea market at all — more like a curated exhibition of vintage furniture, homeware and fashion. Marylebone suits that energy. It’s thoughtful, design-aware, and quietly confident.

Because it was a 35 trader event, everyone really pulled out all the stops. The furniture dealers styled their spaces beautifully, lighting was switched on, glass was polished, tables were edited. No filler, no half-hearted set-ups — just considered stock and traders who clearly cared. When space is limited, standards rise. And you could feel it.

There’s something lovely about a smaller vintage market in London. You can do a full lap without needing a sit-down. You can actually talk to the traders. You’re not overwhelmed. It felt calm and grown-up — the way buying vintage furniture should feel.

We run vintage markets across London, from large outdoor settings in Kensington to historic East London venues like Leadenhall Market, but this Marylebone edition reminded me why I started doing this in the first place. You don’t always need a hundred stalls to create something special. Sometimes you just need the right room and the right people in it.

Marylebone absolutely deserves its own vintage market, and St Cyprian’s turned out to be the perfect backdrop. We’ll be back.
