This Saturday we’re back at one of our favourite London venues — St John’s Church on the Hyde Park Estate — and if you’ve ever been before, you’ll know why this one has developed something of a following.
We’ve been running our vintage market here for just over three years now, and last year something slightly unexpected happened… it went a little bit viral. Suddenly videos of the event were everywhere, people were sharing the location, and a whole new crowd discovered what has quietly become one of the loveliest vintage markets in London.
The setting helps, of course. St John’s is a beautiful church tucked away just moments from Hyde Park itself, and the atmosphere inside always feels a bit special. Light pours through the windows, the architecture gives the whole space a sense of calm, and the stalls sit perfectly within the building. It’s one of those venues where vintage furniture and design-led pieces just look right.
Over the years it’s also built up a rather serious trader waiting list. Dealers are always asking for a spot here, and we’re incredibly picky about who we bring in. Every trader is carefully selected, which means visitors can expect a brilliant mix of mid-century furniture, retro homeware, vintage lighting, art, textiles and properly sourced period pieces.
The crowd it attracts is just as interesting. Interior designers come to hunt for statement furniture, stylists and decorators arrive early looking for pieces for upcoming projects, and private collectors know they’ll find things here that rarely appear elsewhere. You might even spot the occasional celebrity weaving through the stalls — Hyde Park does tend to draw that sort of audience.
Most people, though, come for the atmosphere. There’s something about this particular London vintage market that feels relaxed but exciting at the same time. People browse slowly, traders chat about provenance, and every now and then someone walks out clutching the piece they’ve been searching for for years.
It’s busy too. We regularly see between 1,000 and 2,000 visitors through the doors, and tickets do tend to sell out before the day.
If you’re planning to come, arrive early and take your time wandering through the stalls — there’s always something unexpected hiding somewhere.
The Hyde Park Vintage Market is on this Saturday 7th March 2026 from 10:30am at St John’s Church, Hyde Park Estate, and if you love mid-century furniture, vintage interiors and beautifully curated markets, it’s one you won’t want to miss.
