“Why charge to get into events?”
We work super hard to ensure we bring you the best possible event. We pay a hire fee to the venue, we pay insurance to put the event on, and it takes time to source and book in all these fabulous traders. We then have to promote to ensure everyone knows about the event, and promotion costs money. If we don’t promote, people won’t come to the event and then traders don’t make any money. Independent businesses have had to deal with a lot in recent years and we are fully committed to ensure our events run smoothly, efficiently and most of all, are profitable to the small businesses we serve. The small booking fee helps to pay for admin costs to the ticketing company and the commission that we pay to secure online payment platforms.
