Nearly 59 years after Kensington Market first opened its doors on 15th September 1967 and transformed British fashion, High Street Kensington will once again become a destination for independent style, creativity, culture and vintage fashion.

On Saturday 19th September, during London Fashion Week, Judy’s Vintage Fashion Market in collaboration with Opportunity Kensington will bring together 60+ vintage specialists, emerging designers, upcyclers and sustainable fashion brands in a celebration of the independent spirit that made Kensington Market famous.

Rather than recreating the original market, this is a living celebration of the values that made Kensington Market legendary: originality, creativity and independence. Through bringing established vintage traders together with the next generation of independent fashion talent, the event will celebrate Kensington Market’s rich cultural legacy while looking towards the future of British fashion.

Fashion is at its most exciting when it's personal, individual and unexpected. This is not a conventional street market but a gathering of the people who keep independent fashion alive.
